4.1 Quotations and Estimates
All quotations provided by Sheffield Air Systems are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information provided by you at the time of assessment. Should site conditions differ from those described or anticipated, we reserve the right to amend the quotation accordingly.
4.2 Installation and Workmanship
All installations and repair work will be carried out with reasonable skill and care by qualified engineers. We warrant all workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of completion. This warranty is void if repairs or modifications are carried out by a third party without our prior written consent.
4.3 Manufacturer's Warranties
Where equipment is supplied, the Manufacturer's Warranty typically applies. The terms of such warranties vary by manufacturer. We will provide all relevant warranty documentation upon completion of the installation.
4.4 Access and Site Preparation
It is your responsibility to ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area. You must ensure that the site is clear of obstructions and that there is adequate lighting and ventilation. If we are unable to commence work due to lack of access or site readiness, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee or a fee for the wasted attendance.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Deposits
For installation projects, we typically require a deposit of 50% of the total contract value to confirm the booking and order materials. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the works.
5.2 Method of Payment
We accept payments via bank transfer, debit card, and credit card. Payments made by credit card may be subject to a processing fee.
5.3 Late Payment
Time for payment is of the essence. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at the rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, accruing daily from the due date until the date of actual payment.
6. Cancellations by You
If you wish to cancel an order for services or goods, you must notify us in writing.
- If you cancel more than 14 days before the scheduled start date, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.
- If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before the scheduled start date, you may be liable for 25% of the total contract value.
- If you cancel less than 7 days before the scheduled start date, you may be liable for 100% of the total contract value.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Exclusions and Limitations
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to this, our total liability to you in respect of any loss or damage suffered by you arising out of or in connection with the Services shall be limited to the total price paid for the Services.

We shall not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, whether for loss of profit, loss of business, depletion of goodwill, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the Services.
